The Design
This prefab modular home is all about relaxed coastal living, a modern beach shack elevated to soak in water views while sitting gently within the natural contours of its sloping site. Materiality leans into a soft “driftwood” timber look, embracing the coastal palette.
Layout
The home centres around an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area oriented to the views, with large sliding doors opening to decks and pergolas for easy indoor-outdoor flow, plus an outdoor shower for beach side practicality.
There are 3 bedrooms, thoughtfully zoned for privacy. The main bedroom is set apart with a walk-in robe acting as a buffer and an ensuite featuring a generous shower. A second bedroom doubles as a study or retreat, alongside a third guest bedroom, with a streamlined main bathroom designed for simple, low-maintenance living.
Sustainability
The elevated design captures sea breezes, with windows and decks oriented for natural light and reduced heat gain. Ducted air and ceiling fans enhance comfort efficiently, the home is solar-ready for future panels, and it’s connected to mains water and sewer for everyday ease.
