Design
The elevated design of the soon to be installed Glendon Brook House accommodates the sloping site and takes advantage of dam and valley views. The home is externally clad in Colorbond Corrugated Custom Orb in the shade Gully. A warm and earthy grey, Gully harmonises with the tones of the surrounding landscape.
Layout
The home comprises 1 bed with ensuite, large open plan living/ kitchen/ dining space, expansive deck for alfresco entertaining, walk-in pantry, laundry, carport and shed.
A pod provides flexibility for changing needs (office, guest space, carers unit), containing an additional 1 bed + 1 bath.
Sustainability
The home is solar-ready, optimised for future fit-off of solar panels, with two 30,000L water tanks connected to all flushing systems.
The home has a bush fire attack level of 19 with non-combustible material considerations needed for protection from ember attack and radiant heat.
In winter, a Nectre wood heater warms internally with logs collected off the land. The Nectre N60 fireplace is easily a crowd favourite with its tall, sleek, award-winning design and makes the perfect addition for cooler nights, providing a cost-effective heating alternative.
