The Design
This considered rural retreat seamlessly blends light, airiness, and connection to the natural landscape. A skillion roof and expansive highlight windows will help maximise the northern sun, creating a bright and airy interior.
Wraparound decking with shaded pergolas will allow the residents to take in the rural views. The integration of native landscaping will further enhance the property’s harmony with the countryside, completing the modern yet nature-inspired aesthetic.
Layout
Separate yet still connected, the thoughtful zoning of the design creates balance between private and social spaces, allowing residents to transition between moments of quiet and shared experiences.
The home comprises 3 beds, 2 baths, a retreat/ study space, an open plan living, kitchen, dining, walk in pantry and a laundry with break out decking for a designated dog washing space.
Sustainability
Passive Design principles have been implemented including considered orientation, high grade insulation, double glazing and shading to take advantage of the prevailing wind patterns, sun and shade for the varying seasons.
A conduit will be installed within roof cavity for future solar panel installation.
