We can help you prioritise well-being and wellness at home with health additions including saunas, plunge pools and creative spaces tailored to your interests.
Saunas: Using a sauna may help relieve aches and pains, support relaxation, and improve cardiovascular health. We can integrate a sauna into the design of your home so you can reap the benefits.
Ice Baths & Cold Plunges: Ice baths offer several benefits, including reduced muscle soreness and inflammation, improved circulation, boosted mood, and potentially even improved sleep and immune function.
Creative Spaces: We can help bring your ideas to life with spaces dedicated to your hobbies or passions, whether it’s an art room, music studio, mediation station or a space for yoga – we can design areas tailored to your specific needs.
Outdoor Baths + Pools: At Arkular, we are well experienced in integrating pools and outdoor baths to strengthen connections to nature, from architectural designs as seen at the Shoreham Banksia House, to simplistic concrete pools and rustic outdoor baths.

Fitness: Creating Active Living Spaces
Regular physical activity is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We can incorporate features into the design of your home that encourage movement and fitness, making it easier to stay active.
Outdoor Spaces: Having a comfortable and inviting outdoor living space will encourage you to spend more time outside. We consider shade (pergolas, awnings) warmth (firepits, outdoor heating, fireplaces) lighting and spaces for veggie and herb gardens to amplify outdoor living areas.
Flexible Spaces: Multi-purpose rooms can serve as workout areas, playrooms, or relaxation zones. We design adaptable spaces that can evolve with your lifestyle.
Proximity to Nature: We incorporate principles of Biophilic Design within our modular dwellings for healthy spaces and happy people, integrating visual connection with nature, airflow and natural light.

Sleep Tight: Elements to Integrate to Promote Better Sleep
Quality sleep is key to good health. To create a sleep-friendly environment, consider the following design elements:
Natural Light: Incorporate large windows or skylights to allow natural light during the day, which helps regulate your circadian rhythm.
Comfortable Bedding: Invest in high-quality mattresses and pillows that provide the support you need for restorative sleep. We used an iAdapt mattress in the Agricultural Lakehouse for comfort, balance and healthy air circulation. Due to its open cell structure it provides optimal ventilation and a natural protection against fungi, bacteria and dust-mites
Calming Colours: Choose a soothing colour palette with muted natural tones, to promote relaxation and tranquility in your bedroom.
Good quality bedding, mattresses and furniture can make all the difference when it comes to having a good sleep. Some of our favourite Australian brands include: Adairs, Sealy, Sleep Maker, Sheet Society and Hommey.
